Universal Design for Learning
Visual schedules, flexible seating, and sensory nooks might be what one specific learner needs in order to maintain regulation, but the whole class benefits from their implementation. By collaborating with teachers to provide multiple ways to engage with content, and to express their learning, EAs are equipped to provide a sense of belonging, dignity and autonomy. All learners thrive given the freedom to engage with content in a way that celebrates their strengths.
